He received a Master of Law Degree from University of Gdansk, Poland and a J.D. from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Eryk is admitted to practice law in Illinois and New York. He obtained extensive transactional experience with national law firms of White & Case LLP and Chapman & Cutler LLP. He represented commercial and institutional lenders in corporate finance and securities offerings, private equity securities transactions and domestic and international extensions of credits. He also represented the State Treasury of the Republic of Poland in its offering of US$ 1 billion principal amount of Notes in the US financial markets. Eryk also gained vast experience in bankruptcy and reorganization proceedings, representing bank groups, bondholders, equity holders, troubled companies and debtors in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcies.
